Behold Your Little Ones

I absolutely love the newest Nursery Manual, "Behold Your Little Ones."  I think it is done just beautifully.  I have used it for Family Home Evening Lessons as well as part of my summer school.
The Introduction is a great place to start if you are new to nursery.  It has wonderful ideas and good suggestions for a schedule and routine for your class.  It also says,
"In addition to the activities in this manual, you can use games, pictures, songs, stories, and other
       activities from Church magazines."
That is what this web page is for!
I am in the process of gathering extras for each lesson in nursery.  Since you can teach one lesson over two weeks or do several activities throughout nursery since repetition is great, I know it can be helpful to have some extra ideas!  I also try to include activities adjustments for various ages.  Children just starting nursery are quite different than children about to leave.  Plus if you are using the manual for Family Home Evening, chances are you have various ages in your home.  Please let me know if these help you or if you are looking for a different direction as I really hope to make these useful to you!  I will try to do a lesson a week so keep coming back.

(I'm in the process of updating these and making them even better.  Those with a poster to print are on their way but those without I haven't gotten to yet so be patient!) Also moving everything to new site! Will delete from here as transfer over! Be sure to bookmark our new site!  www.cknscratch.com

P.S. There are a couple of other blogs or websites that I have come across that I would like to share with you.  They are not church websites, just people trying to be helpful just like me.  One is Sugardoodle, which if you don't know it already, you should!  It has all kinds of great ideas for almost everything you need in for a church calling and more.  There is a nursery section that has some various ideas and sometimes coloring pages or activities that you can print out.  The other is Church Babies that has coloring pages for each lesson as well as for Sunbeams.  So check them out if you are looking for more.
